This time last year, the SD-WAN market was blistering hot. But what’s happening now? What can we expect?

SD-WAN is one of the most important developments in networking, so these questions must be answered. We have invited a select group of industry analysts to present and discuss their latest research – what was expected, what has happened, and what lies ahead.

The global shift to a digitally, rather than physically connected workspace, made the WAN more vital than ever, and increased pressure for the flexibility, scalability, efficiency and security enabled by SD-WAN. This would suggest a major boost for SD-WAN start-ups and mature networking companies alike – many of which were already experiencing significant growth. Hot start-ups such as CloudGenix, VeloCloud, Viptela and Nuage Networks have all been acquired by Palo Alto Networks, VMware, Cisco and Nokia respectively. Key players such as Versa Networks, SilverPeak, Fortinet, Aryaka and others are also currently thriving. While consolidating, the market was also expanding into areas like cloud security services and SASE.

Then along came coronavirus.

Who better to update us than Scott Raynovich, Futuriom Founder and Chief Technology Analyst – with two decades’ experience as an independent technology analyst specializing on growth tech markets, their symbiosis and evolution. Scott has been researching the dynamic SD-WAN ecosystem and is eager to preview his latest findings in SD-WAN – Analysts Outlook.

Also invited are analysts from Vertical Systems Group and Dell’Oro Group – whose Shin Umeda has collated the latest data on the surprise impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on SD-WAN opportunities and uptake.

Following the presentation of data and discussion of its implications, there will be a 15 minute Q&A session between the analysts and an invited audience of media and their VIP guests from around the globe.
